ONLY AVAILABLE IN WINTER CONDITIONS

The course covers general driving skills in snowy and slippery weather conditions. This course uses 4 areas of the safe driving range – test area, “Circle, “Skidpad” and “Hill”. This course allows you to experience the car’s skidding in perfectly safe conditions and simulate situations that can happen on the road in unpredictable ways.

The course is held individually in the participant’s car (without studded tires) and should be booked in advance.

What will I learn on the Winter Driving Course?

Braking on snow

Proper braking on slippery surfaces or when grip changes. Applying the most effective and correct braking techniques, improving skills by also learning alternative braking methods. Assessment of the car’s braking and tires during the exercise.

Slalom

Avoiding obstacles at a constant speed on snowy or icy surfaces, focusing on proper steering techniques and effective steering.

Rapid change of direction

Applying the basic principles of correct trajectory, proper actions in skid control on slippery surfaces. Effective use of pedals to change the car’s turning angle.

Avoiding obstacles

Avoiding an obstacle at increased speed with a short reaction time, focusing on proper steering and vehicle control in a state of imbalance.

Properly handling unexpected skidding situations

Control of unexpected skids on slippery surfaces. Applying the basic principles of skid control depending on the type of vehicle drivetrain. Developing maneuvering skills while avoiding obstacles.

Certification

After completing the course the participant will receive a “333” safe driving range certificate.
