Customer Day 333 at the Safe Driving Range

The winter season is approaching and statistics show that road accidents are on the rise.

This is most often the result of adverse weather conditions such as wet asphalt and ice. As the autumn and winter season sets in, not only is the number of cars on the streets increasing, but also the quality of the road surface is deteriorating due to heavy rain and frost.

Sports Complex 333, together with the 333 Safe Driving Range, is organising a Customer Day – Safe Test Drive, where everyone will have the opportunity to get a little insight into the operation of the training ground and test their driving skills in emergency road traffic situations on a specially equipped training ground. The simulator includes elements to simulate sliding on wet or slippery roads, obstacle avoidance and hard braking.

Egija Laure, Project Manager of the 333 Safe Driving Proving Ground, explains:

“Every road user needs to be confident that they can handle their car on the road. Fortunately, many of us have never been in an accident while driving. Our event is an opportunity to make sure that we can make the right decision in unexpected situations and deal with it!” 

The event will include a presentation on how to react in extreme situations on the road and a practical part at the Polygon, where everyone can test their driving skills under the guidance of experienced instructors.

Who can participate?

All drivers are welcome to take part in the event, each participant must bring their own car (with a valid roadworthiness test). The car must not weigh more than 3.5 tonnes and must be fitted with non-studded tyres.
