12-year-old Tomass Štolcermanis wins the Junior class in Latvian go-kart championship

12-year-old Tomass Štolcermanis wins the Junior class in Latvian go-kart championship and now has the honor to represent Latvia in the world. 

At this weekend’s Latvian go-kart championship season’s final stage in Jelgava, the 12-year-old go-kart instructor from Sports complex “333” Tomass Štolcermanis won the Junior class, becoming the Latvian champion and gaining the opportunity to represent Latvia in the World Cup in Italy.

Štolcermanis will compete for the title of World champion in go-kart “Rotax MAX Challenge 2019” championship with participants from countries such as USA, Brazil, New Zealand, Australia, Belgium, the Netherlands, Finland and others.

Tomass Štolcermanis is a three-time go-kart champion of Latvia, in 2019 he participated in competitions as a part of “RM Latvia” team and has gained victories in most of them. The participation in the prestigious World championship “Rotax MAX Challange Grand Finals 2019” is very important because Štolcermanis is perceived as a very fierce competitor and that is a great way how to bring Latvia’s name in the world.

This year’s “Rotax MAX Challange Grand Finals 2019” will be organized for the 20th time, taking place in Sarno, Italy from the 19th till 26th of October. In 2018 the competition took place in Brazil where Štolcermanis won the 9th place.
